Manaslu with T-sum Valley Trek

With time Manaslu Circuit Trek is getting more famous. It is used as the complement of Round Annapurna Trek due to availability of road to Annapurna Circuit Trek. Manaslu Circuit Trek covers subtropical Himalayan foothill to arid Trans-Himalayan High Mountain with six different type of landscape. The main highlight of this trek is attractive scenery of Mt.Manaslu (8163m ), Himalchuli with the Annapurna massif, beautiful villages of Samagau and Samdo, 110 species of birds, 33 different mammals, 11 type of butterflies and 3 species of reptiles and 19 different type of forest. During this trek, we will get close to two different types of ethnic group of people. The trek begins from Arughat which is at altitude of 600 meter and goes up to Larke pass at 5016 meter.

During the trekking, we can enjoy the inhabitant local food and the hospitality.

Tsum valley, the hidden valley is an unexplored place. It is completely isolated from the modern development. This place was opened for the tourism only in 2007 by Government of Nepal. This place is so untouched that much religious and archaeological evidence is still same as it was thousand year ago. People still practice polyandry system (all the brother from the family get married same girl) and they follow unique culture and tradition. They have their own dialect as well. Tsum valley people’s main festivals is Lhosar and Sake Dawa Dhacyhang. Tsum valley separate Nepal from Tibet. This valley is surrounded by Buddha Himal, Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal.

Accommodation During Trekking
During the trek, we will be staying at local teahouses. These offer accommodation and food served in a dining room which also functions as a social meeting place with other trekkers. All accommodation is on a twin shared basis. A single room is usually available at a little extra cost. The tour guide will arrange the best available accommodation in each village. As we advance to higher and more remote villages it may occasionally be necessary to share a room with more than 2 people. During the treks, most of the bathroom and toilet facilities are shared and toilet can be either a squat or a western toilet.

Meals During Trekking
In Kathmandu we can enjoy authentic Nepalese food such as Thali and Momo at a traditional Nepalese restaurant. For instance the Newari restaurant is a special place serving Newari food (the Newari are the indigenous people of the Kathmandu valley). Newari food is famous and unique.
