The Helambu Trek is a perfect short trek near the Kathmandu Valley. Despite being so close to Kathmandu, the Helambu region remains relatively unspoiled. Besides the Hyolmo culture of high mountain people the trek also offers the company of Green Rhododendron and Bamboo Forest, majestic waterfalls and snow-capped Himalayas. These component of trek makes this trek one of most diverse trek near Kathmandu. The great Himalayan scenery at the border of Tibet and monasteries makes trekking to this region an enthralling experience. People living in highlands of the Langtang region are certainly the Nepalis but being descendant of the Tibetan origin look alike Tibetans.

Accommodation During Trekking

All accommodation is on a twin shared basis. A single room is usually available at a little extra cost. The tour guide will arrange the best available accommodation in each village. As we advance to higher and more remote villages it may occasionally be necessary to share a room with more than 2 people. During the treks, most of the bathroom and toilet facilities are shared and toilet can be either a squat or a western toilet.
