As mentioned in our program the Helicopters that we use for joy and fun scenic flight, can fly up to an altitude at a comfortable height of above 5,000 m or 16,000 feet high. In some cases like for immediate rescue, a Nepalese pilot have dared flying above 6,000 m high which is on the record of Guinness Book of World Record.
While you are seated inside the chopper, you will be warm and cozy, but on landing for short walks, as well for the views it can get cold with wind chill factor which is common in mountainous areas. However, you will be advised by our staff, what warm gear to carry or to dress for the Everest Heli flight season-wise.
Normally, after visiting the higher area of Khumbu and Everest for close views of Mt. Everest, the pilot makes a normal and routine landing near at Everest View Hotel and its restaurants, at the height of 3,880 m high. Where passengers can enjoy a warm cup of tea/coffee with the backdrop of Mt. Everest and other high peaks. The stops for short landing entirely on pilots decision. Depending upon the weather, weather can frequently change which is normal around the high Himalaya region even at the best time of the year.
