Overview

Everest view trek is a lower altitude short trek to the heart of the Everest region.  This trek is relatively easy compared to other treks in this region due to its lower altitude.  The 11-day trek is suitable for anyone with a reasonable fitness level. If you want to observe the beauty of Mount Everest closely but want to avoid high altitudes and tiring up and downhill sections then this is the best solution for you.  Monks and monasteries, beautiful villages, donkeys, yaks, and porters, breathtaking views of the Himalaya are some of the highlights of this trek.  Sherpa culture, food, and hospitality make this trek an experience of a life time.

The Everest view trek begins with a breathtaking flight to Lukla.  We then pass through the villages of Phakding, Monjo, Dhukur Pokhari following the Dudh Kosi river.  A two-hour climb from Dhukur Pokhari takes us to Namche, the gateway to Everest.  Our trek then extends to the village of Tengboche. Mount Everest and the other mountain like Lotse, LotseShar, Amadabalam, Kongde, Thamserku, Kangtega can be viewed during this trek. Open Trail Treks also offers several other trekking in this region: Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest base camp treks via Gokyo – 19 days

Accommodation During Everest view Trekking
During the trek, we will be staying at local teahouses. These offer accommodation and food served in a dining room which also functions as a social meeting place with other trekkers. All accommodation is on a twin shared basis. A single room is usually available at a little extra cost. The tour guide will arrange the best available accommodation in each village. As we advance to higher and more remote villages it may occasionally be necessary to share a room with more than 2 people. During the treks, most of the bathroom and toilet facilities are shared and the toilet can be either a squat or a western toilet.

Meals During Everest view Trekking

In Kathmandu, we can enjoy authentic Nepalese food such as Thali and Momo at a traditional Nepalese restaurant. For instance, a Newari restaurant is a special place serving Newari food (the Newari are the indigenous people of the Kathmandu valley). Newari food is famous and unique. During the trek, we will eat traditional Nepalese food as well as more international cuisine (Tibetan, Indian, Italian and continental). Dinner and breakfast will be taken at the teahouse where we spend the night and lunch at one of the trail teahouses.
