This is the last day of your adventures in Nepal. After breakfast, if you have time, you can do some last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Private transport will be arranged for you if you let Open Trail know about your plans the day before. A representative from Open Trail Treks will collect you from your hotel and take you to the airport 3 hours before your flight.
At 3660m Khopra Ridge is the highest point of the trek but if you do trek to Khayer Lake than you will reach 4,600m.
Yes, since the Annapurna region is rich in flora and fauna so you can found much wildlife here, some of them are Himalayan musk deer, Himalayan Tahr, Weasels, Marten, Lynx, and Himalayan mouse hares are wildlife you see on Khopra Danda Trek.
Autumn season (September to November) and spring season (March to May) are the best seasons to trek Khopra Danda and the favorite season of most trekkers. The temperature in those seasons is neither too hot nor too cold. Since the sky gets clear in those seasons you can enjoy a clear view of the mountains. In the autumn season, the villages look colorful and decorated because of the festivals as Dashain and Tihar lie during this period, and in the spring season, tourists can enjoy a spectacular view of full blossomed red and pink rhododendron which makes the forest colorful and more alluring. Open Trail Trek doesn’t recommend its visitors to visit Khopra Danda in winter (December to February) and summer (June to August)season, since because of rain in summer season trail became wet and slippery and in winter you can’t get to see the view of mountains, often in summer and winter seasons mountains hide behind the cloud.
The checkpoint of ACAP and Tim’s card is in Birethati just after Nayapul and the next checkpoint is at Ghorepani.
The Khopra Danda Trek is a mild to moderate trek. The hardest part of the trek is to reach Khopra ridge for some trekkers but since it’s a mild to moderate trek it won’t be very difficult.
You can found many traditional teahouses and standard lodges on the Khopra Danda trek. The teahouses are facilitated with a private room but shared bathroom. There will be a communal area to have a meal and seat next to fire at cold nights. And the standard lodges are larger than traditional teahouse which provide internet facilities in a rural area but still offers a shared bathroom.
A most served meal in the Khopra Danda Trek is typical Nepali food Daal Bhaat. More than that, you can also have momo, pasta, fried rice, pancakes, chicken meals, cheese omelet, porridge with milk etc. meals and the menu are quite good in Khopra Danda Trek.
